Our Story

Nicholas Saunders, a 20 year veteran of the Hospitality Industry, moved to San Pedro from western Massachusetts in 2012 with his then girlfriend, Sarah. Three years later, they married in their backyard and traveled through Spain for their honeymoon. That’s where Nick fell in love with the food & drink culture of San Sebastián, Barcelona, Madrid, and Sevilla. These regions have perfected the art of small savory dishes paired with delicious libations and good company. A bar atmosphere with incredible food built to be enjoyed with friends and strangers alike. This is what Nick loves to share with his community in San Pedro; high-quality product served with genuine knowledge and honest passion.

Sarah opened RoundTrip Collective, a women’s boutique in downtown Pedro, in February of 2020, and Nick hosts “Pintxo Pop-Ups” until he finds the perfect brick & mortar, they will continue to grow and develop with San Pedro and their two beautiful babes, River and Talulah.
